Eternity And Romance

A song unheard and sweet, it's words carried a meaning capable of bringing about a change in the hearts of countless who are craving for someone to be with till the end of their days. Their hearts have turned coarse and unclean after being betrayed and abused repeatedly just because they thought this world to be an ideal place one often sees in one's dreams.  She sighed and sang, sometimes in whispers and sometimes in an unrestrained ecstasy so that her voice imbued with the feelings of her heart and mind shall get conveyed to her lover who lives in her wake; such is the passion of youth when one's energy to thrive is at its peak and perrenial but, unable to pass on to one's old age. Thus, perenniality remains with the young and is characteristic of youthfulness.  When young a man or a woman wishes to conquer everything there is to see and touch in this world only to realize in the end that life is much more, transcending both birth and death not to forget our

The Funny Thing About Cricket

A game of bat and ball in which the bat is made to score centuries, and the ball is made to prevent those centuries from being scored. Both the bowler and the batsman are protagonists of the field, whereas the fielders represent the supporting actors who stand firm for the success of the bowler. As the match progresses the two parties cheering from the pavilion seem to have an upper hand alternatively as per the delivery of the bowler, or shot selection by the batsman.  The green grass is their stage where the actors perform to their heart’s content with the audience bursting in applause from all sides unlike a film shooting in the sets, or even in a real life location. The azure blue sky bestows its blessing and light during daytime, and the ever bright spotlights after the sun sets so that the little circular ground doesn’t lose its glamour characteristic of a dream dreamt by millions to touch one’s forehead on the sacred earth of the ground. An Ideal Dream

I was surrounded by friends who accepted me even though I was annoying as they understood it is my very nature; unique to only me. Many a times I kept a beard and sometimes I didn't for a change but none did ever mind because they were my true friends who lived as individuals respecting each other's individuality. The mark never mattered as much as my conduct as a human being did so descending from the shore of a temple I was greeted by my friends as I always have been cause the mark of my faith didn't change the man who I am. There was no need for me to adjust neither was there any need for them to do the same cause we were friends.  I was an individual- free and boundless like the sparrow scrounging and chirping with those of his kind without any expectations to fulfil in order to be with those of his kind. We danced when it rained, sat silent and meditated under a

The Uncivilised Human

Bh***!, Mad******!, Behen****!, Hara*****!, Rund**!, Dalit!, Ma ki ****! are terms which have replaced the very Namaskar and Kaise ho aap thus, becoming an integral part of our vocabulary today.  There was a time when this sky painted blue by the rays was our world and source of inspiration; gazing at which relieved us from our sorrow and restlessness that results in all the ills we see around us. The sky is nothing much of a
